St Victoire:
Close to Aix en Provence this kingdom of off vertical slab climbing has a great selection of multi – pitch climbs in the lower grades.

Calanques (November – March):
These mediterranean sea cliffs are one of France's unique climbing destinations. Everything from single pitch sport, to all day multi – pitch sport, and wilderness trad adventure and all with the exotic blue backdrop of the mediterranean sea.

Chateauvert:
A superb sportclimbing destination within a hour of the Verdon.
Blessed with a wealth of moderate classic sportclimbing on unusual and beautifully featured limestone with holds and texture often reminiscent of sandstone.
The area is perfectly equipped for learning to sport climb and is fairly unique on limestone for having a high density of top quality climbs in the lower grades.
